Review of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (2017) by Compi24 — 08 May 2017
James Gunn, Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana and co. return to the deepest reaches of space to bring us "Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2," a worthwhile sequel that may world-build and crack wise to a definite fault, but, still - a worthwhile sequel it remains.
The eye-catching visuals and infectiously entertaining set pieces will undoubtedly entertain, but as things unfurl on the narrative front, the more you may or may not start to realize just how flimsy things are this time around.
Still though, there's enough charm and character in this particular piece to power through some of the slower, more aimless portions of the story at hand. Indeed, it definitely does not feature as clean and clear of a narrative as its predecessor, but this "Guardians Of The Galaxy" sequel ultimately *just* lives up to the standards set by the Marvel brand.
