It's not fantastic. They amped up the action and the stakes too much. There are too many points where the whole thing seems unbelievable. The effects are pretty. Everything is just about what you expect it to be for a modern Marvel film.
It's a tired and pointless formula, but it sells gangbusters. Unless your a huge fan of the dozens of comic book films coming out this decade, give it a pass. If you do want to see it, don't watch it in 3D.
The flaws in the 3D effects are really obvious.
