What a waste of talent and source material. I am disappointed beyond belief. Went in expecting some light hearted summer fun, much like the original. Instead I got a painfully bad movie about killing your father.
The props were distractingly bad. The CG terrible. They didnt't even make an effort with makeup and bodypaint to make the characters look like aliens. The laughs came from the side characters and were obviously meant to appeal to 5 year olds.
Chris Pratt was his handsome, charming self. I really do believe he did his best with what he was given.
A painfully bad movie that might as well have just been titled Generic Marvel Movie Good job Marvel, you have officially lost a customer.
