Wasn't a bad flick by any means, but it didn't have the same charm as the original, and a lot of the conflict is more or less just filler. But hey, on the plus side, Yondu, who was a guilty favorite of mine in the first movie, got a lot of the spotlight, and went out with an nice emotional touch.
A lot more character development than the last, but it's arguable if that's a good thing for this series.
