Review of Guardians of the Galaxy (2014) by Rl_Stine — 01 Aug 2014

This movie was great. Going into it, I was worried that it would be a bit too silly with the talking raccoon and all. But I was pleasantly surprised when I saw that this movie has good acting, great characters, and some very funny moments.

The story takes a bit of time to take off, but despite this, the movie never gets boring. And to top it all off, the movie has an amazing 70's soundtrack that somehow fits into the sci-fi adventure perfectly.

And for everyone worried that this is a generic action movie: it isn't. In fact, the movie does an excellent job of staying away from nearly every action cliche. To sum it up; Guardians of the Galaxy is what every summer blockbuster should try to be.
