Stallone is my favorite actor and De Niro isn't far behind but alas just like Escape Plan was 15 years to late to maximize its potential Grudge Match falls in the same boat. Yes the old man jokes are humorous enough but Jake Lamotta vs.
Rocky Balboa should have been huge instead we get a lackluster comedy that never takes any of its good jokes far enough and carries on with its lame ones. The fight was awkward but choreographed well enough to not be a complete joke.
Still Grudge Match offers enough of a good time to pass a couple of hours.
