Review of Grown-Ups (1980) by Kendall I — 14 Jul 2013
For an Adam Sandler/Dennis Dugan collaboration, "Grown Ups" isn't as horrible as it probably should have been. Of course, it is meandering and plotless and largely unfunny, and I wouldn't recommend it to a single soul, but the cast seems to be having fun with one another and the soundtrack features some great songs.
The main problem is that it's a movie meant for men around the same as its characters, but only kids and idiots will find any humor in its "jokes.".
