Review of Grizzly Man (2005) by Daniel K — 05 Oct 2008
A fascinating, somewhat strange and complex documentary about a fascinating, very very VERY strange and complex man. As someone else before me pointed out, it does kind of have a Christopher Guest mockumentary feel.
Treadwell is so ridiculous that, at times, it is very difficult to not laugh at him. It's also difficult to not pity him, and feel jealous, and admire him, and hate him. Most of all though, it made me want a pet fox.
