Review of Grizzly Man (2005) by Clive R — 31 Dec 2008
A great documentary by Werner Herzog on the life and death of bear enthusiast and self-proclaimed protector Timothy Treadwell. While it does show the folly of Treadwell with him constantly pushing the boundaries of human and bear for various reasons, the film also shows how great a natural film maker he was, with moments of such beauty.
It's a moving piece of work.
