Review of Grizzly Man (2005) by Amar K — 13 Aug 2010
This is an uncommon meeting between Treadwell's loony idealism and Herzog's bleak worldview ("I believe the common denominator of the universe is not harmony; but hostility, chaos and murder.").
Unlike any nature documentary, this doesn't approve of its protagonist, and it isn't sentimental about animals. Masterpiece indeed.
