Review of Grizzly Man (2005) by James T — 18 Nov 2011
Grizzly Man is a fascinating look at the life of a man who found love, peace and ultimately death, with one of the most deadly animals on Earth. Werner Herzog's film allows us to form our own opinion on the obsessive Timothy Treadwell through footage Treadwell shot himself.
Grizzly Man explores the themes of obsession and sanity and anthropophobia and shines a sympathetic light on Treadwell's mission to "protect" the bears.
