Review of Grizzly Man (2005) by Phil K — 05 Mar 2012
A documentary about a madman who probably got what he deserved. Treadwell's hubris and desperation for some style of fame got himself and his girlfriend killed. The people interviewed feel incredibly coached- they seem to match our subject's desire for his infamous five minutes.
This man's hubris and camera pandering was only made more repellent by many of the the onscreen antics of those interviewed regarding him. And our moral? Bears are animals, and they will kill you. Really, now?
