This movie is seriously fucked up. I dont know what I thought of it. it bored me a lot of the time due to the repetitive incomprehensibility of so much of little edie and big edie's interactions. but at the same time, the movie really resonated emotionally with me by its conclusion.
this is def an existentialist affair where the rotting house comes to symbolize the decay of youth. and the characters' constant state of fantasia represent an exagerrated form of the inherent theatricality of life.
