Review of Grey Gardens (2009) by Matt L — 16 May 2009
This was really hard to watch -- not just because all the squalor made me intensely anxious (the moment where Little Edie dumps out a bag of sliced bread and a box of Cat Chow in the attic for the raccoons will haunt me forever), but because the sound was so bad.
Between the echoey empty house and the Beales' screechy voices, I feel like I could barely follow what was going on.
