Review of Grey Gardens (2009) by Kyle B — 15 Nov 2015

An extremely delightful documentary on fascinating women that I wish I was friends with. It is hilarious, heart breaking, and really enjoyable all at the same time with a few moments that left my mind wondering but overall kept me hooked.

I loved the intimacy the Maysles have with these women letting them talk to them and acknowledge that they are there that most documentarians wouldn't let you do. It added a layer of intimacy with us in the audience as well.

This is a movie that I will quote all time now and I am dying to get others to watch.
