Review of Gremlins (1984) by Shaun B — 12 Oct 2014
This and GREMLINS 2 were favorites of mine growing up as a young kid. Upon further review of this one as an adult I find it to be too coy and cute with too many cliches to regurgitate but it also helped bring back dark humor into the horror genre (as well as ushering in the PG13 rating).
It's not a great movie but if you want to watch something with younger children it's a fantastic movie to watch for them and also for nostalgia's sake on your end.
