This is a very fun movie however I'd keep kids younger then 11 away. The reason is this doesn't really seem like a kids movie. It's far too dark for that. Mostly the infamous scene with Phoebe Cates.
Some kids might like it but I wouldn't count on it. Overall a very entertaining movie.
