Review of Greenland (2020) by Hotelcentral — 10 Sep 2022
Primarily, it's a disaster soap opera and in the first five or ten minutes the entire plot is revealed: a comet is coming and most of us are probably not going to survive. All that's left to discover is how many obstacles the screenplay puts between our main characters and safety. The big surprise? A Kentucky farmer has no handguns, just one bolt action rifle, to hand his daughter and son-in-law. Personally, I don't think that's credible.
The film is moderately entertaining but lacks innovation and forget about plot twists.
