While it still has the classic disaster movie trope of man has bad relationship with his wife but he has a kid and that serves as his moral compass, bc apparently disaster movie men only have empathy if they have children and failing/failed marriages, but that’s more a complaint abt disaster movies.
other than that the movie is a top tier disaster movie.
