Review of Greenberg (2010) by T K — 16 Jan 2014
By far the most annoying movie I've ever watched. The film Silver Linings Playbook is amazing because you have two people with an incredibly real mental illness, and somehow you genuinely relate to these people.
However, in this film, in no way do you feel any sympathy for Greenburg or relate to him in any way. He comes off as a complete washed up rockstar idiot with no respect for anyone but himself. It's very odd for the title character to be so unlikeable.
BUT. That's not the worst part. IT HAS NO PLOT WHATSOEVER. The whole time you are waiting for something more to come out of it and you keep telling yourself that something will. This movie was absolutely awful and not worth seeing at all.
Very very disappointed. Annoying is the only word to describe it.
