This movie isn't for everyone, but I really liked it. It was about this man (Ben Stiller) who gets out of a mental hospital in New York and goes to Los Angeles to housesit for his brother for a month.

He complains nonstop about people and the things they do that he hates, but is completely oblivious to the fact that he is describing himself, and he is a complete jerk! He seems to me to be part bi-polar, part OCD, part jackass, depressed, confused, and socially stupid.

He's also hilarious because of this. It's dark humor. He tries to reconnect with people he hasn't seen in 10 or 15 years, and it's a wonder they'll even still talk to him. The woman he tries to have a relationship is forgiving to a fault.

The movie is so well made, acted, written, I mean everything is perfect as far as the music and sets and so on. It was quirky and different and funny and bizarre. If you can find humor in awkward and horrible situations this is for you.

If you want an upbeat story, not so much.
