Do you judge a film according to the answers it seems to give or the questions it raises?
Great performances by Gerwig and Stiller. I was really enjoying the film until I had to look up "D&C". There's something very sickening about vacuuming the body of a developing soul out of a uterus, "human person" or not. But if you see the abortion as thematically representing the destructiveness of the characters, we find a parallel between the life or death of a developing fetus the life or death of developing human relationships.
