I'm so glad I watched "Frances Ha" first but because I wouldn't have if it followed that one. Ben Stiller's over-the-top, almost hysterical performance ruins the whole things for me.
There is no chemistry between him and Greta Gerwig who's interpretation of vulnerability here did not affect me as much as it did in "Frances Ha".
