The facts of Iraq turned into a fair entertainment. This film has Matt Damon earnestly chasing his tail while searching for the ever illusive weapons-of-mass-destruction. As I watched the film I began to wish it would become a comedy.
With the right creative team this could've become another Doctor Strangelove. The political manipulations and confrontations surrounding Matt Damon's growing doubts and frustrations do verge on the ridiculous.
It's the fact that the basic facts are true that drags them into tragedy.
