Review of Green Street Hooligans (2005) by Alexander W — 04 Jun 2009
Pretty solid movie. The acting was good, and the actors really got into their roles. The message towards the end about people avenging others, and the idea that fighting makes you more of a man, are a little over-the-top, but don't really detract from the overall movie.
Aside from these false messages, the only other down side was the absolute stupidity of the only female character played by Forlani. My favorite thing about this movie though was the camera work! Many of today's big directors could take some lessons from this movie on how to film GOOD fight scenes! Good acting and camera work as well as a decent story, make this one worth a look.
