Review of Green Room (2016) by Spencer K — 18 May 2016
Jeremy Saulnier, who delivered the great "Blue Ruin" a couple years ago, brings this horror thriller about a punk band who plays a Skinhead club, accidentally witness a murder and end up trapped and trying to escape the club from the owner and his skinhead Nazi group.
It is high tension some wonderfully horrific violence, and a lot of grit. It isn't as good as "Blue Ruin" was, but it is pretty solid entertainment...and based on these two movies Saulnier is one I'm gonna keep an eye on, because he knows how to make a movie and build tension.
