Review of Green Room (2016) by Ricky G — 22 May 2016
I heard about this little movie through the grape vine called Green Room staring Anton Yelchin and Imogen Poots. I believe this is their second film working together the first was the Fright Night remake, which is one of those rare remake which are great.
I did something I never do, go into a movie not knowing anything about it. I didn't see a trailer and I didn't even read the description of the movie. I have got to do that more. This movie is really really good probably the best horror movie to come out this year so far.
It starts off slow but once they get to where they are going that's when it gets going and man does it get going. This movie is tense as can be. If these actors were not able to act this movie would not work, lucky everyone ever gives a really good performance, even Patrick Stewart with an American accent.
This movie is also really gory at part and it doesn't shy away from being gross. I don't want to give anything away because you should go into this movie not knowing anything like I did. If you're a horror movie fan and actually looking for something different than a crappy Blumhouse movie, go see this movie.
