Review of Green Room (2016) by Richard B — 09 Aug 2016

I really enjoyed Jeremy Saulnier's last film, 'Blue Ruin' quite a bit and was really looking forward to this film. The film is a fairly straightforward genre film that I enjoyed as well. I liked the cast quite a bit and thought the majority of their actions are justified (often in films like this it's easy to say "Don't do that" and I can only really think of one time I said that here).

This film shocked at times and the violence and gore we're totally appropriate for this and I loved how it was a horror thriller with zero science-fiction, monsters, or serial killers as this is such a great film for that it is.
