Review of Green Room (2016) by David Z — 13 Oct 2017
What a lot of people would consider a typical survival horror movie, I would consider a film about being who you are meant to be. It isn't just about being a Skinhead or not, it's about being able to be the person you claim to be for the music scene you ascribe yourself to.
As the movie goes on, you slowly realize that very few of these characters do as they say and vice versa and that in order for any of them to get out of this scenario, they will have to become the worst versions of themselves.
