Review of Green Room (2016) by Acebadger — 04 Nov 2020
This is a grisly, distressing film that centers around a misfortunate punk band. After taking a gig at a Neo-Nazi bar they stumble on someone they shouldn't have and from there things escalate to uncomfortable heights.
From then on it's a suspenseful horror where the band tries desperately to get out of this situation. The first time I saw this I hadn't looked at the credits and Patrick Stewart's inclusion knocked me off my feet.
He gives a chilling performance as a cool headed, leader of the Neo-Nazi's that is completely in his element and steers the situation with an almost mechanical malevolence. This film is definitely worth a watch.
