Who wants to watch Hal Jordan actually LEARN to wield his power ring when he can just start kicking ass with it!
Any real character development is sacrificed for intergalactic mayhem as the Green Lantern of Sector 2814 faces off against his former mentor (of all of about 10 minutes, mind you) with the fate of the known universe in the balance.
Perhaps not for those who know nothing of Hal Jordan or the Corps and expect more in-depth explanations, but fans should love the chance to see the man many consider the greatest Green Lantern in animated action.
