Review of Green Lantern (2011) by Christian M — 13 May 2014

My feeling toward this movie is kind of split, on the one hand I like the cast, I love the look of the characters in the Green Lantern Corp and their planet, and it looks like it should. But the movie has a quite a bit of problems like the costume is not as good as it should be, Sinestro is not in it as much and isn't the villain, and most importantly the villain that's in this movie is stupid and the whole movie feels like a lot of rushed set up after setup and a weak payoff.

The best part of this movie is the whole sequence when he's on the lantern's planet and trains and has a 1 on 1 against Sinestro which is only like 15 minutes. This could have been better movie if he would've just stayed on that planet the whole movie but it's a decent hero flick and isn't a good thing for Warner Bros and DC knowing that the last Superman movie and Jonah Hex were flops and people didn't like.
