Review of Green Lantern (2011) by Michael E — 27 Mar 2018

While not necessarily a trainwreck, this film does not do this beloved character justice. Thinly written with unnecessary characters, a lousy villain, and a rushed origin story, it just isn't a good start for a potential franchise.

What makes it heartbreaking is that not only did they have the budget to pull this off but Ryan Reynolds would've done a fantastic, memorable job if they give him a good story to work with. Nonetheless, despite all that it was entertaining and story goes along just fine but it just doesn't meet the standards of what it should be.
