A truely magnificent film. I had Great Expectations of this movie. I was most certainly not disapointed. It was just so captivating and brilliant and there was just this air to it that only great movies have- and it is very rare.
The first film I think has ever deserved a five-star rating from me, how close it is to the novel however, I have yet to find out. Jeremy Irvine has most certainly grown in skill since his debut in War Horse.
