Review of Great Expectations (1998) by Angela C — 10 Oct 2007
Anne bancroft as the eccentric aunt of gwenneth paltrow's character, ethan hawke as a poor dreamer come into their world as if by fate. One could believe in dreams when seeing this movie. The development of the characters, the visual imagery and a sometimes sultry and surreal soundtrack makes this one of my all-time favorites.
