She had sexy and nothing else but that was enough for Finn to be smitten, and get inspiration from Estella, her auntie Anne Bancroft (terrific!) who listens to Besame Mucho 24x7, and De Niro who is frightening in a short reprise of Max Cady from Cape Fear.
Paltrow has never looked better and Ethan Hawke is believable as the country bumpkin who gets his artistic groove on in hip NY. Great Expectations are met with a good twist at the end along with stunning visuals - bookworms tell me its different from the book.
