Review of Great Expectations (1998) by Erin H — 08 May 2008
I'm a bit disappointed. I loved the book, I love the story and I love Ethan Hawke. But this is not gripping at all. Hawke is unconvincing. His narrator part is not very interesting. cinematography lingers unnecessarily.
the scenes are sometimes too slow, others too fast. not so bad, but read the book instead.
