Review of Gravity (2013) by Peter F — 20 Nov 2015
Going into this movie, I knew there was a lot of hype... and then Anti-hype. At first it was the best movie ever, and then later, people started to tear it down.
I really didn't know much more than "Sandra bullock, in space, big accident". Which was nice to go into this blind. Over all, I quite enjoyed the movie, the special effects for the most part were top notch. I know people pick apart small details about how the Space Station is laid out, or that the Soyeuz capsule doesn't have a window etc. etc., but who cares, that so doesn't matter.
The film is a great ride, as you cheer on Ryan Stone, and hope that for each trial, she can find a solution.
My only complaint, and it's a small nitpick at that, is that I wanted more at the end. The ending is fine, but I just wanted the movie to continue, I was really hoping for an add on epilogue sequence at the end. At any rate, I would definitely recommend this movie.
