I'm not going to lie,I haven't seen it recently and am going off of memory.
The effects and visuals were amazing for the time but the story,not so much.
It's one of those films you only see for the visuals,I don't know how realistic it is (because obviously I've never gone to space) but I do know that the characters and setting were boring. I remember being bored out of my mind when I saw this,albeit I was 12...
Overall: I don't if it holds up to day,but I'd recommend seeing it if it were say £5 or less.
