WOW! This film was clearly designed to be a different kind of experience, which makes it a groundbreaking work. It's one hell of a ride as a well-crafted experiment in radically empirical filmmaking.
Unlike "Avatar", which was also visually stunning and an overall very sensual experience, this film also has some great storytelling and seems to very physically express the archetypal hero journey.
Brilliantly done! Definitely raises the bar with it's unique texture delivering a power punch of an impact.
