Tense, thrilling and one of the greatest technical and visual spectacles ever put to cinema. Gravity marks a point in film history and it makes it with stunning visual effects, cinematography, sound and editing.

Alfonso Cuaron's style of directing utilising absence of cuts and dramatic imagery and wife shots helps propel this film to another claustrophobic, tense level. This is clearly his dream project, with care and attention put into creating this 90 minute tale in space and making it the most realistic depiction of space that will likely ever grace the silver screen.

The performances are good but not great but fortunately Sandra Bullock is able to carry the whole movie on her inexperienced astronomical shoulders. The only downfall lies in the cliche ridden and emotional pandering script, which can be slightly forgiven when a film of this technical prowess can influence you in such a powerful way.
