In my opinion, the best film of 2013. Alfonso Cuaron's directing is absolutely groundbreaking and mesmerizing. If this was in the hands of another director, I don't think it would have nearly as good.
The acting was stupendous, the visual effects were absolutely beautiful. Steven Price has also composed one of the best scores I've heard in my entire life. Everything in this film is pretty much perfect.
Call it "Overrated", I call it a "Modern Masterpiece".
