Review of Gravity (2013) by David S — 22 Dec 2014
Short, powerful, and stunning in all matters of appeal, Gravity carries a punch worth a million words, yet leaves the viewer speechless. Starting off with an impressive 12 minute-long scene without cuts, and then showcasing impressive acting from Bullock and Clooney, Alfonso Cuaron has shown true genius in the style of this film.
Venturing into amazingly impressive cinematography, special effects, and story, every step of this movie is a captivating ride powered with suspense, intrigue, and awe. With a run-time of 91 minutes, it seems Cuaron knew exactly when to stop, presenting a tightly packaged film that portrays the "less is more" so magnificently.
Gravity is a beautiful film, and deserves all due fame.
