Review of Gravity (2013) by Andrew T — 10 May 2015
Wasn't sure what I was going to get with Gravity, having seen all the award show fluff, which I never really trust. Everybody was right with this one though! Everything from the effects, sound, acting, directing, storyline, etc.
, were all done so well. Without knowing anything about the space and astronaut realm, I felt like the accuracy of all the events have to be at least close to how things would really be in the same situation.
I couldn't help but think back to the movie Castaway and the brilliance it takes to make a compelling movie where the main character is alone for most of the movie. Hats off to Sandra who did a marvelous job acting the part of Dr(?) Stone.
