Review of Gravity (2013) by Ben M — 23 Dec 2015
Gravity is a one-of-a-kind film that comes only once or twice in a generation. First, there was 2001: A Space Odyssey, then Apollo 13, and now Gravity. A truly timeless movie with some of the best special effects I have ever seen put to screen.
It's not all about spectacle, however. The story follows Sandra Bullock's Ryan Stone, a medical engineer working on putting a new mapping device on the Hubble Telescope, when something goes terribly wrong.
Dr. Stone is forced to fight for her life against seemingly impossible odds and her struggle to survive is captivating and will have audiences on the edge of their seats. This is one of my favorite films of all time and it is truly an instant classic.
