It's a great premise and location and the set-up is promising but at about the halfway mark the film ceases to be scary or interesting. Characters run around in the dark screaming and rejects from a Japanese horror movie occasionally jump out at them.
In movies like this less is way more and this is way too over the top and silly to be really affecting.
