While the shaky camerawork gimmick has grown tiresome, Grave Encounters still manages to muster some very creepy moments. The characters may be cliche and annoying but the eerie atmosphere and sense of mystery to the setting really make up for it.
It's a must see for fans of paranormal activity and the Blair witch project.
