Review of Grave Encounters (2011) by Julio C — 04 Apr 2012
A just decent, but not that scary flick, yet again in the documentary style, yet again set in an asylum, and yet again selling itself as a piece of genuine footage. Examples of this genre have to be pretty special to keep me interested, and although the performances are decent, there are only a few minor shocks to be had, and although it actually starts off well, with some much needed humour in places, it all gets just a bit over the top toward the end.
Pretty underwhelming film.
