I really did not expect to like this film at all, but surprisingly I really enjoyed it. It goes from being funny to scary, then goes back to being funny but for all the wrong reasons unfortunately. It's such a shame that the last 30 minutes of this film are so silly, because for the first hour I was sitting watching this terrified, I'm not gonna lie.

The film makes clever use of the found footage format and also puts a satirical twist on shows like 'Most Haunted' and Ghost Hunters'. The first 20 minutes of the film are actually pretty funny as we get to see the goofy off screen personalities of the cast and crew of the show.

Then the film actually gets quite scary, there's some seriously chilling stuff and it's mostly when you can't see anything. In my opinion facing the unknown will always be a million times more scary than some crappy CGI demon face that's been slapped on in after effects.

I also should say that Sean Rogerson (Lance Preston) I thought he was fantastic. I honestly think the director should have left out the silly looking monsters because if they had this could have potentially been one of the scariest films I've ever seen.

Nevertheless this is still a fun movie, not a great movie, but still very entertaining and guaranteed to get a few scares out of most people. Definitely worth a watch.
