My wife is fascinated with the ghost hunting shows, and the character of Lance Franklin (and the whole set up, that is being locked up) is straight out of Ghost Adventures. The character Lance is based on Zak Bagans ... same look, attitude, mannerisms, speech etc. This gave some comedy value to the film.

I note a lot of people enjoyed the ending mainly, I personally thought it was lame (and corny). I think the scene after finding the girl in the shower who turns and looks like something out of the Ring I just laughed at the "monsters". Should have went down the track of being a thriller, would have been more believable.

Overall alright for a good laugh, especially if you enjoy parodies but the "scare" factor is terrible (and I scare easily).
